For those who can’t make it to a concert or just want to revisit Cindy’s musical compassion there will be the Feel the Love CD album. Cindy not only writes and sings about families living with memory loss, she shares their experiences. Cindy’s mother was an Alzheimer’s sufferer who inspired Cindy’s first musical ballad about memory loss – The Queen of Norway. The love and understanding continues....in 2006 Cindy and husband Mike bought the Highland Alzheimer’s Care Home in Jackson, Michigan. With their hands on leadership Highland has become a pace setter in Alzheimer’s resident care based upon home like living that extends quality of life through the family’s suffering with the memory loss disease of their loved one. Championing the cause of people who are going through times of great family suffering is not new to Cindy who has performed, for the past twenty some years as a Roving Minstrel in the annual Madrigal Dinner to benefit Hospice services in Chippewa County, Michigan.
