Arkansas Black Apple Tree
The Arkansas Black apple tree produces a ruby black apple with golden flesh. The apples have a tart, crisp flavor with a very firm texture that makes them good for cooking and baking. The flavor deepens after 30 days in the refrigerator and the apples keep well for up to six months in good storage conditions. Arkansas Black apple trees are cold tolerant with fruit ripening in October and November. They are also great apples for feeding deer.
