7 STEP HOME TEST PROCEDURE
GRADES 1 THRU Ph.D.

I developed the 7-step home test procedure as a method of study in order to make the deans list in law studies. After the semester was over, I received a letter from the college dean that verified my procedure worked as planned. Better grades.

The reason this works so well to get better grades is that students want better grades but are only tested a couple of times a semester and preconceived test stress impairs the memory function of the brain. This is why students do not do well in testing but can get better grades. The thought of being tested, rather than the questions and answers themselves, is the problem about better grades. When students review graded tests, they always cringe at the missed questions because they knew the right answer, but test stress impaired them from exact item recall so they did not get better grades.

My procedure for better grades by home testing reduces stress because the student becomes familiar with the testing function and therefore the student is more relaxed. It also builds confidence which allows the student to relax and encourages item recall for each exact question. All my research shows that confidence is everything to getting better grades.

THE 7 STEPS

Step 1 - Determine test questions and correct answers.
Step 2 - Type each question and then the answer for each.
Step 3 - Make a copy of these questions and answers.
Step 4 - Delete the questions leaving this area blank to write in later.
Step 5 - Make 5 copies of deleted questions page(s).
Step 6 - Study the questions and answers as preferred.
Step 7 - Using the test copy without questions, write answers in the blank portion of the 1st test same as you would in school. Correct your 1st test using the copy with questions and answers. Study and repeat testing with the remaining 4 tests, taking time out to have fun doing something else between each test.
