Bright, lush and rich with notes of honeyed marmalade, intense tropical fruit, white flowers and slight minerality; the fruit is complimented by nice acidity, vanilla and a touch of oak.

Sonoma Acres Pinot noir Russian river '08 (Russian River, Sonoma) $15.99 or $172.80 a case
Bright aromas of strawberries, bing cherry and red plum. Well structured, with a silky, lush mouth feel, and flavors of raspberry, pomegranate, cherry and cinnamon. Aged in French oak for ten months and nicely integrated with a very pleasant finish. This is a small production 100% Pinot Noir that was all grown in the prestigious Russian River Valley.

Cru Vineyard Montage Chardonnay '07 (Monterey) $19.99 or $228 a case
Aromas of pineapple, papaya, and citrus peel are typical of this vineyard. Light toastiness in the background aromatics gives way to pineapple and toast in the mouth, with a light butteriness in the finish. This wine will become increasingly expressive and round as it opens up.
