Darold R. Belding, 84, of Hillsdale, passed away Friday, October 23, 2009, at the Hillsdale Community Health Center. He was born May 16, 1925 in Kunkle, Ohio to Harrison Jack & Eva (Marks) Belding. He was married November 2, 1946 to Millicent "Millie" Randall and she survives.

Darold retired in 1987 from Allied Products in Hillsdale. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during WWII. Darold was a member of the Happy Kampers and also enjoyed square dancing being a former member of the Salk Trail Square Dancers.

Surviving besides his wife Millie are three children, Denise (Jesse) Morgan of South Bend, Indiana, Harold (Pamela) Belding of Hillsdale and Jerald (Susan) Belding of Jonesville; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna (Bob) Campbell of Adrian and brother Ronald (Marilyn) Belding of Biloxi, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lowell.

Funeral services for Darold Belding will be Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at 2:00 p.m., at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Pastor Diane Schaffner officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette, Ohio. The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday from noon until services at 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
