Montana Bandmasters Association President Laurie Hickman teaches band at Sacajawea Middle School in Bozeman, and has also taught at Bozeman High School, as well as teaching private woodwind lessons. She brings broad and lengthy experience to her leadership post.
Laurie and her husband, Lowell, recently retired MSU choral director, have three grown children, one of whom is Professor of Clarinet at Wichita State University.
