Chip has over 40 years in business with his father, Walt,
operating EPS (Evergreen Performance Systems).
They specialized in dynamometer tuning and problem solving.
Also, race preparation and restoration of 1960's
Shelby, Mustang and Falcon vintage road race cars.
Through their 50+ years of racing, Chip and Walt developed
a custom line of high performance racing suspension and other components.
Although EPS has closed it's doors, Chip is offering

Chip Hane has been teaming with his father, Walt Hane, who started racing and winning in 1961. In late 1965, Walt got to race the Shelby GT350 R103. In November 1966, he drove it to the Sports Car Club of America National Championship at Riverside, California beating such heavy weights as Mark Donohue. Meanwhle, Chip has earned his own awards in vintage racing.

In 2007, Chip and Walt, co-drove Walt’s original 1965 K Mustang to an overall victory against space-age and sports-racer cars at the RMVR Enduro in Pueblo Colorado, below right. Walt was only 79 years old then!
