Itinerary
Day 1: Board the transatlantic flight to Budapest.
Day 2: Arrive and transfer to the ship in BUDAPEST. Festive dinner on board tonight.
Day 3: Our tour of Budapest begins in Pest and views the Parliament, Royal Palace, Heroes´ Square and Market Hall. We then cross over the Chain Bridge to Buda to see the Citadel on Mount Gellert and the Matthias Coloration Church. This afternoon is at leisure. Sail for Bratislava this evening.

Day 4: Arrival in Bratislava. Our tour takes in the Opera House, Kapunizer Abbey and the Parliament. A tram brings us to the castle and we continue our walking tour of the town center. Sail for Vienna this evening.

Salzburg

Day 5: We arrive in Vienna and tour the Ring Strasse up to the Hofburg Palace. Later we see the Vienna State Opera House, the Parliament, St. Stephen´s Cathedral, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Natural History and City Hall. This afternoon is yours to explore.

Day 6: In the later morning we arrive in Melk and take a short drive to visit the baroque Benedictine Abbey with its spectacular views of the Danube Valley. This afternoon we cruise the Wachau Valley. A wine tasting is tonight.

Day 7: Today choose an optional full day tour of Salzburg or enjoy a free walking tour with me of Passau. We will visit the Cathedral of St. Stephen, the marvelous medieval heart of the city and enjoy a peaceful afternoon. Sailing today we pass the "Schlögener Schlinge", an unusual loop in the Danube River.

Day 8: We arrive this morning in Regensburg, one of Germany´s finest preserved medieval cities. A walking tour takes us to the Old Town Hall, the Dom St. Peter, the Roman gates and Porta Pretoria, one of the oldest stone bridges in Europe.

Day 9: After an adventure-filled trip, we transfer to the airport for our return flight to the USA.
