Itinerary
Day 1: Board our transatlantic flight.

Day 2: After arrival, we drive across southern SCOTLAND. A stop in the medieval village of Stirling acquaints us with the Wallace Monument dedicated to the Scottish revolt against the British in the late 1200s, immortalized in the film "Braveheart".Then it´s on to EDINBURGH, capital of SCOTLAND.
Day 3: EDINBURGH We will visit the EDINBURGH CASTLE, the very foundation of the Scottish nation. Afterwards we will stroll down the Royal Mile, past St. Giles Cathedral and Holyroodhouse Palace.

Day 4: Across the Scottish Uplands to the LAKE DISTRICT. Into the Cumbrian Mountains, we reach Ambleside, home of Wordsworth, the English symbol of the Romantic Era. Later we continue to the English resort town of BLACKPOOL.

Day 5: To WALES, and the town of CONWY. The CONWY FORTRESS is unrivaled for its medieval might and importance. In the town center is the TUDOR HOUSE, the best preserved example of a private 16th century home in the nation. We visit both before returning to Blackpool for the evening.

Day 6: In SHAKESPEARE’S STRATFORD, we visit ANN HATHAWAY’S HOUSE and the SHAKESPEARE FAMILY HOME, wonderful examples of Renaissance England. Enjoy a cup of tea and stroll the Avon River this afternoon.

Day 7: STONEHENGE is our first stop today. The massive monoliths from nearly five millennia ago still fascinate visitors today. Later we drive to BATH to see the charming Georgian town with its world/famous ROMAN BATHS. We return to Stratford to overnight.

Day 8: LONDON is our destination today. We will walk past BUCKINGHAM PALACE to the HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT, see BIG BEN and WESTMIINSTER ABBEY, the Churchill Statue in Parliament Square and the Thames River. This evening is the THEATER! After dinner we will attend one of London's premier theater experiences.

Day 9: We begin today at the TOWER OF LONDON, the very essence of English history. Later it's on to the BRITISH MUSEUM, TRAFALGAR SQUARE and the NATIONAL GALLERY OF ART. Tonight we have our farewell dinner and raise a pint to "Merry Olde England!"

Day 10: Transfer to the airport for the return flight.
