P4K
Pilates For Kids 6 Week Program

Pilates For Kids (P4K) program at Evolve Pilates  & Fitness is designed to help children ages 7-15 years improve their health and wellness.  With the increased cuts of physical education programs in schools, Evolve Pilates believes that providing an alternative exercise program will help develop better concentration, core strength, confidence, and coordination as well as correct posture in children.  Kids will learn exercises based on Joseph Pilates mat routine using props and their imagination to create a fun learning environment.
Program objective:

Teach kids mind-body awareness through the five P4K principles.
  • Concentration: accomplished through focus on movement and consistent routine
  • Core strength: all  exercises will improve strength and flexibility
  • Confidence: program is designed with reward progressions and a sense of accomplishment
  • Coordination: developed through mind/body exercise
  • Correct posture: Pilates programs have been proven to improve posture in children
How is Pilates different from PE classes at school.? P4K:
  • Focuses primarily on core strength and functional movement in a well structured and organized small group setting
  • Class is designed with progression in mind.  A thorough understanding of the Pilates principles is essential for progression
  • Teaches self-discipline and body-awareness
Program details: 6 Week Program
Beginning dates: September 15th or 17th
Ending dates: October 20th or 22th

Cost: $60 for 1x per week  or $100 for 2x per week
