Carnelian

The Carnelian stone has been important to many throughout world history. As far back as the 3rd century B.C., this stone has been widely used as jewelry, which was recently discovered in Egyptian tombs. In Europe, ancient Greeks and Romans used Carnelian as signet rings and cameos due to its deep, rich colors and translucency. These are the same attributes that make this genuine stone appropriate for lighting.
