BREATH-TAKING. Exciting. Refreshing. One Rockwell, Rockwell Land Corporation’s signature project, gives you a taste of the distinctive lifestyle and more.
Situated at the center’s gateway on Rockwell Drive, One Rockwell is envisioned to become the epitome of Rockwell Lifestyle. Its cutting-edge design, new features and innovative offering will surely raise the bar once more for prime residential property.
No detail was left to chance. The appointment of Miami-based Arquitectonica, the famed design consultant for “Las Ramblas”, a US$3-billion hotel-casino project east of the Las Vegas strip, whose investors include “Ocean’s Eleven” George Clooney and Cindy Crawford’s husband, Rande Gerber, is proof of this.
“Arquitectonica brings to the table fresh ideas that provide the verve and give the project the edge we’re looking for while retaining the Rockwell Lifestyle signature. The design workshops for One Rockwell with Arquitectonica and the rest of the Rockwell team is a page-turning chronicle,” said Val Soliven, Rockwell AVP for Sales and Marketing.
One Rockwell is set to rise on a 2-hectare block, currently the site of Rockwell Information Center and the popular breakfast nook for Rockwell residents and patrons.
“Our signature project makes a bold statement with its twin-towers taking on distinct, high-contrast geometric forms. They are pulled together by a piazza on the ground level and an elevated circular driveway that provides privacy and security to One Rockwell residents,” added Val.
The design integrates landscape architecture details that give back the greenery to its future residents and patrons of the retail outlets on the ground level. It also ensures that corners are opened up and decongested by pulling the project up and away from the bends.
She continued, “The views are spectacular. We made sure of that. One Rockwell affords each resident a unique vista, whether it’s the metropolitan skyline you’re after or sunset mirrored on the idyllic bay.”
The angular shape of the East tower provides 10 different views of the metro. The building is shaped like a lightning rod with a total of seven (7) corners. The highest point is 46-storeys high. The levels cascade down towards the corner of Estrella and Rockwell Drive and round out with 41-storeys.
The West tower assumes a curvilinear structure, providing a high contrast that makes One Rockwell really interesting. This building is made up of two (2) halves that seem to slightly slide away from each at the center. The architectural detail created by the incidental bumps in the curve creates distinct vertical lines on either side of the building.
“Discovering One Rockwell is like opening a gift – each layer you peel off makes you eager to move on to the next one. Structurally, One Rockwell’s design is impeccable. What is more exciting are the features en suite in One Rockwell,” said Val.
She continued, “We’ve designed towers with amenities on the ground, podium level and a couple of storeys high. One Rockwell will be the first to house the amenities on the roof deck! Imagine sipping your cooler while lounging on a chaise with a 360-degree view of the metro or taking a dip in a pool that looks out into the blue sky dotted with fluffy white clouds. One Rockwell is the ultimate in luxury resort lifestyle set amidst the urban jungle.”
Arquitectonica founding principal, Bernardo Fort-Brescia drew inspiration from the Banaue Rice Terraces, one of the eight (8) wonders of the world. His interpretation resulted in terracing gardens on the roof deck amenities level that capitalizes on remarkable unobstructed views extending beyond Metropolitan Manila.
“One Rockwell retains the charm of a retail mix at the ground floor, with quaint coffee shops and al fresco dining while exploring the dynamism of innovative architectural design. It’s not a promise; it’s a guarantee,” said Val.
“We want the future residents of One Rockwell to take pride in calling it their home. We want them to feel good that they are part of our neighborhood. And we want to make it a total experience for them,” added Val.
To find out about how you can own a piece of prime property at One Rockwell, catch the open house exhibits on December 3 and 4 at Chicago Marriott Oak Brook in Oak Brook, Illinois, and at Hyatt Regency on the Hudson in Jersey City, New Jersey.
