SPEND a holiday in Atlantic City on the weekend of November 11. While you’re there, watch Gary V Concert, Live!
While most people go there to gamble in its glitzy hotel-casinos, often in bus tours, Atlantic City actually offers more, which is why both young and old people keep coming back.
Its fine arrays of restaurants, nightclubs and music venues, outlet stores and miscellaneous knick-knack stores that line its famous Boardwalk are some of its more notable attractions.
Atlantic City offers night life excitement and subtle charm. It promises something for the entire family, be it a romantic moonlite walk along the boardwalk for young and old lovers alike, shopping in its brand name outlets or buying souvenirs from the Boardwalk, rides for the kids at The Steel Pier, or experience fine dining from its eclectic array of restaurants which offer both local and exotic cuisines.
On Saturday, Nov. 11 at 7 pm, Atlantic City will have something even more to offer with the Gary V Live Concert at the Boardwalk Hall. Gary will be sure to perform his new hits from his latest album as well as classic, favorite hits.
Gary V, the ultimate performer, has received many recognition -- UNICEF Ambassador of Goodwill for eight years; Most Wholesome Television Male Personality for the Southeast Asian Foundation for Children’s Television for 2 consecutive years;
Two Hall of Fame Awards this year for Awit Awards (Dangal ng Musikang Pilipino) and the Aliw Awards as well; 2005 First Generations Hall of Fame Award from MTV-Pilipinas.
Samsung gave him a citation for his great contribution to the music industry; Nokia gave him an award for being chosen by their website readers as the Most Influential Artist in the Philippines.
And he won’t be alone with special guests Diether Ocampo and Kristine Hermosa as his special guests. Who knows, some lucky fan may even spot Diether shopping at one of the outlets or bump into Kristine at the Boardwalk!
The three are currently appearing in the award-winning musical variety show, ASAP, on ABS-CBN’s the Filipino Channel.
The show is produced by Special Edition Press, Inc. and ERJ Productions. Tickets are priced at $58, $68, $88, $108 and VIP $128. To charge by phone, call 212-682-6610 or 973-641-5665 or 800-736-1420; e-mail sepmgzn@aol.com or meredithmalasig@yahoo.com or visit www.specialeditionevents.com.
