Each of our systems includes a toll-free telephone number. You can use it or not use it, if you prefer a local area code phone number. A toll-free telephone number, however, does offer certain advantages, particularly for a business or even for a family with children or relatives away from home to make it easy for them to call you. Your toll-free telephone number is a permanent number. You NEVER have to change it, no matter how often you move or change your other telephone service providers.
Never Miss a Call; Never Have a Busy Signal -- Using a toll-free telephone number means it can handle hundreds of calls simultaneously.
Captures EVERY Caller's telephone number, even if they have caller I.D. Blocking.

Paying the Cost -- Even though you pay call charges with a toll-free telephone number, the rate is only 6.9¢ per minute, billed in 6-second increments, for calls from anywhere in the U.S., including Alaska & Hawaii or Canada & Puerto Rico. Vanity Number -- With a Toll-Free Telephone Number, you can have a Vanity Number, which is a number that spells something or has special meaning to make it easier for callers to remember. Our online order form provides for immedate search for a Vanity Toll-Free Telephone Number.

Using a Local Area Code Telephone Number
|
|
We have local area phone code numbers available for most all area codes in the U.S. If we don't have your area code available immediately, we can usually obtain one within 24-hours.
2 Lines Provided -- A local area code phone number is a $10 per month option & it comes with 2-lines, which means you can receive 2 simultaneious calls. If a third call is received at the same time, it will receive a busy signal. A local number from your local telephone company only includes one line. You pay extra for each additional line. And, that number is NOT permanent. If you move out of the area, you have to get a new number. But, our local area code phone numbers are permanent! You NEVER have to change it, no matter how often you move or change your other telephone service providers!
No Charge for Inbound Calls -- A local area code phone number does not incure any call charges for inbound calls. Your callers pay their own call charges.
Call Transfers -- If an inbound call to your local area code phone number for our service is transferred to any of your other local numbers, there is a connected call charge of 2.9¢ per minute, if the connected number is in the same area code as your local area code number for our service. If the connected number is outside that area code, making it a long distance call, the connected charge is 3.9¢ per minute.
Keeping Your Local Number for Our Service -- If you ever leave our service, for any reason, you can take your local area code phone number with you to any other service you specify.
Transferring an Existing Local Area Code Phone Number to Our Service -- If you already have a local area code phone number & want to transfer it to use with our service, it can be transferred for a one-time $30 fee. It should be noted, however, that once your existing local number is transferrred to our service, it will be answered by your Initial Greeting & Main System Menu Recording & cannot be used as a number to transfer calls back to you.

Each Mailbox Has the Following Capabilities:Follow-Me Call Forwarding -- You can enter as many telephone numbers, as you wish (even in different cities, states or countries), including your Cell Phone Number or any other numbers, into the Call Forwarding Module of any mailbox to have calls transferred to you or anyone else, wherever you or they can be reached. Forwarding numbers can be changed instantly by phone or online, through an Internet Control Panel.
When a caller dials the Extension Number of that mailbox, your system will announce: "please hold while your call is being transferred." The caller hears music while the system dials the phone numbers you have entered.
If you answer, your system will announce: "you have a call from your automated system, press any key to accept the call." You can also set up your service, if you wish, to have the system ask the caller to say their NAME, which will be announced to you before you accept the call (Call Whisper Feature).
If you press a key, the call is connected & you can begin speaking to your caller. If you don't answer or you don't accept the call, the caller is sent to voice mail.

Voice Mail Greeting -- You can record a Personal Greeting in any mailbox of any length to ask the caller to leave a message.
If you are not using a mailbox for Follow-Me Call Forwarding, you can have an Informational Recording of any length & then ask the caller to leave their message or contact information for follow-up.
You can also have multiple recordings, as voice prompts, to collect caller information in small segments, such as for surveys, order taking, insurance claims, etc. All caller responses are put together & played back as one message.

Voice Mail Messages -- There is no limit to the number of messages any mailbox can receive. You never have to worry about a caller getting a "mailbox full" message. Messages are stored for 30 days, unless you delete sooner.
Caller voice mail messages can be up to 2 minutes, which is normally sufficient time to leave a detailed message. This limit can be removed, however, if you need to receive longer messages.
Message Delivery -- can be instantaneous. There is a Call-Back Module in each mailbox that lets you enter Call-Back Phone Numbers, if you wish, where the system will call you to tell you when a message has been left.
You can also be paged when a message has been left, as well as have your voice mail messages sent to your email address, as an attachment you can listen to over the speakers of your computer. The email text message gives you the date, time & telephone number of the caller, as well as which Extension Number the message was left in. A Look-Up Service is also available to give you the caller's name & address at only 10¢ per successful look-up.
If you order our WebLink Interface Internet Control Panel with your system, you can also check your messages online & listen to them over the speakers of your computer.

New Voice-To-Text Transcription Service -- As an option, you can designate any or all mailboxes to have the voice messages automatically transcribed from voice-to-text and delivered to your email address, as a text message you can read online, as well as print on your computer printer. $10 option per month covers any or all mailboxes. 25 cents for each 30 seconds of voice message transcribed. Requires email message delivery feature.

Return Calls / Place Calls -- The system automatically captures every caller's telephone number. You can return calls from within Voice Mail by pressing one key, without having to dial the caller's number. You can also place outbound calls from any telephone (including pay phones without coins) by dialing your toll-free number, press star (*) and enter a voice mailbox number & your password, then dial zero to get an outside dial tone. Great for avoiding extra charges when calling from your hotel room.

The Voice Blaster Auto-Dialer Screen lets you enter as many telephone numbers as you wish to receive your voice message. You can select whether you want to have the message played to a live person only, to an answer machine or either. The system only sends out your voice message by telephone during the hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., based on the area code of each number. It will select the first 100 numbers whose area code is in that time period and dials each number and plays the recording when each number answers.
You are charged only for connected calls at 6.9¢ per minute, charged in 6-second increments or as low as 4.5¢ per minute, if you have a prepaid Bulk-Minute Plan. As an example, if you send out a 30 second recorded message, you are only charged for 30 seconds or 3.45 cents for each connected message (as low as 2.25 cents with a Bulk-Minute Plan).
