I don't know if your Grandma or Auntie was a crafty person or not, but if they were, I am sure their items are treasured. Now, many Grandmas and Aunties no longer crochet and some forms of crochet are becoming a lost art. I would love to be able to create a crocheted piece that will become a treasured heirloom in your family.
I love what I do and I think this site reflects that. You will find doilies, tablecloths, sun catchers-including birthstone sun catchers, Birthday Angels, Christmas Ornaments and Tree Skirts, Name doilies, runners/dresser scarves, and much more.
Another thing that I really enjoy doing is taking one pattern and creating different looks from that pattern. A good example of that would be the 5in suncatchers with the different colors.
I also enjoy doing the same thing with doilies. A pattern can be made in a solid color and if it is made in a shaded color it will look entirely different.
Many of the items are designed with gift-giving in mind. Wedding, Anniversary, Birthday, Christmas, Grandparents Day, Sweetest Day, Secretary's Day, Valentines Day, etc.
