What the families of our patients think about us...
|
|
"How can we ever thank you enough for all the wonderful care you gave our mom (Margaret Hankis). Everyone who cared for her made her comfortable and loved. It gave us comfort too, knowing we didn’t have to worry about her daily.
Your job is not an easy one and we want you to know what a blessing every one of you is to your patients, and how grateful we are that mom was cared for so well.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts." ~ Diane & Barry Mumby, Joe & Sue Hankis, Dan & Beth Hankis

To: Highland Management & Staff, When my Mother’s Alzheimer’s became more advanced and it became apparent she needed to be placed in a care facility. I had six basic requirements in mind I wanted for her. Cleanness (no odors), loving care, respect and dignity from the caregivers and staff, medical attention, daily group activities, and a reasonable cost. I feel "Highland Alzheimer’s Care Residence" in Jackson meets all these requirements and much more at a very high level. I am so glad I chose Highland for my mother’s care.
Thanks for caring. ~Velma J. Alderson

"Six years ago I brought mom to Highland Home. It was hard giving her up, but I have found great comfort in knowing she’s well taken care of. It’s more than meeting her basic needs, it’s the genuine compassion that is shown to both my mother and I." ~ Ann Gier, Daughter of Lillian McConnell

"My mother has been in 5 different facilities since she has become dependent and in need of constant care due to a bad fall she had a few years back. Now she has severe dementia. It seems they (the other facilities) were all the same, content to just medicate her and leave her to sit alone, lost and lonely. A friend of the family told us about the Highland Home in Jackson Michigan, so we decided to try it since we were very dissatisfied with the other places. Our mother has had wonderful care and always receives the much needed attention and care that she requires with her condition. I would highly recommend Highland. Our family is very happy and grateful for all the love, kindness and attention she receives there. It is very comforting to know she is in such good caring hands." ~ Rick Marx, Son of Hazel Mitchell

"Dear Mike, I would like to express my sincere Thank You for the arrangements that you and your staff made, taking your time to make dads birthday extravaganza happen. You continue to make him very content to be in your care home. I just wanted you to know your effort didn’t go unnoticed.
Thank you," ~ Lynn Voorheis, Daughter of Jack Delker & Jack’s Family
