Requirements:
  • MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience (PhD a plus).
  • Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
  • Extensive experience programming in C++ and/or Java.
  • Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows environments, C++ development, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, network programming and/or developing large software systems a plus.

Description
:  As an Iverson Genetic Diagnostics, Inc. representative, you will be responsible for calling on health care providers, clinics, hospitals, clinical laboratories, managed care and other health-related organizations/personnel within the Seattle/Tacoma area (Eventually expanding throughout the northwest and then  to a national market). You will be responsible for understanding the scientific, clinical, and business aspects of the genetic testing industry and provide the most current information pertaining to all Iverson products and services. Day to day responsibilities include researching and promoting Iverson’s product line, detailing products to primary care and specialty health care providers, making at least 5-10 presentations to clinics and providers per day, delivering supplies and information and developing rapport with health care providers, clinics, and labs in the community.


Qualifications:

  • Completed 4 year degree.
  • Educational and/or work experience with genetics and/or genetic testing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Business to business sales in the healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Individuals must live within the geographic vicinity of Seattle.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to travel as necessary.

Part-Time Laboratory Technician Needed

Iverson Genetic Diagnostics, Inc. is currently seeking a lab technician to perform basic laboratory procedures.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: laboratory bench work, report generation and review, and sample log in.

Job requirements include:

* Minimum BS degree in molecular biology or a related field
* High level of organization and attention to detail
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and understand complex equipment
* Strong computer skills
* Positive and team oriented attitude
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of success
* Ability to multi-task and manage many projects at the same time

Previous experience in Spectrophotometry, DNA extraction, and PCR are required

Full-time Administrative Assistant/ Front Desk Support

We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform a full range of complex clerical and administrative duties. Position requires considerable discretion and confidentiality.

Essential Functions

  1. Support staff in all aspects of scheduling and administration.
  2. Receives and distributes incoming mail.
  3. Screen, direct, and respond to incoming calls and inquiries.
  4. Provide administrative support as required including writing original correspondence, booking travel, filing, process bills, and expenses, reconcile invoices, and other activities as required.
  5. Maintains inventory of office supplies; orders supplies as needed.
  6. Coordinates meeting, travel, and/or conference arrangements and resolves conflicting demands.
  7. May act as coordinator for special projects.
  8. Types, proofreads, and edits content of documents and presentation materials.
  9. Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate would have experience in scientific processes, science writing and basic administrative procedures. At a minimum, the candidate must possess a HS diploma and at least 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of related education and experience.

Other Required Skills/Experience:

· Excellent computer skills using MS Office Suite required, additional software desired.
· Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
· Strong organizational skills and experience developing and maintaining records management systems.
· High level of attention to detail and work well under deadlines.
· Diplomatic at communicating and juggling tasks for multiple teams.
· Ability to work in team situation with minimum supervision.
· Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
