Our Acne Facial is specially designed for the treatment of acneic skin. This clinical acne facial is designed to immediately treat excess oil and superficial blemishes. The Glycolic Retinol Peel is very mild, yet prickly feeling. This Alpha Hydroxy acid penetrates very quickly to the lower levels of the skin because of its small, 2 carbon molecular structure. You will feel a prickly, itchy feeling while the solution is working. The skin may appear pink to very red, this is normal. During the treatment, the skin will feel tight and fresh. Waxing is a method of hair removal where cool or warm wax is applied to the skin and removed with a muslin strip. Waxing decreases the texture and density of the hair growth over a period of time when done on a regular basis. Waxing shocks the hair bulb which causes it to decrease the growth speed and size of the hair bulb. Waxing is not for everyone. Some skin types are not conducive to waxing. Also, waxing can be harmful to skin exposed to certain medications. It would be wise to have a consultation with one of our knowledgeable staff to determine which method of hair removal is right for you.
