Neil graduated from North Carolina State University with a BS in Civil Engineering. Joy is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Batchelors of Arts degree. Both are heavily involved with the Home Builders Association of Johnston County where Neil is currently serving as the 2010 President of the Association. They spend most of their free time with their three very active boys ages 10,7 and 2 years old.
