Why do we have liquid Neuro-Antitox liquid and pills? We first developed the pills using dried Silphium. We also used beta-sitosterol and chlorella because most of natural Lyme Doctors were getting great success with these two ingredients. But as time went on, Dr. David saw that many patients were having a hard time with the beta-sitosterol and the chlorella. After we formulated this product, we found Pale-Spike Lobelia, and with this new product, he found he stopped using the Neuro-Antitox dried formulas and started just using Silphitrin, Pale-Spike and Molybdenum. We also like the liquid Silphitrin over the powder Silphitrin because with the liquid Silphitrin, the plant is harvested and put into an elixir within one to two hours after it has been harvested; whereas, the powder Silphitrin has been oxidized while it is being dried. So, since we stopped using the product in the clinic, we stopped manufacturing the pills. But humans are funny, they are not created equal; therefore, even though we stopped using the products, many people needed these products and they liked the beta-sitosterol and the chlorella in the products, so we are bringing them back. Again, the Silphium plants and the Pale-Spike Lobelia plants are the main ingredients, but if your doctors tests you and finds the pills are what your body needs, then have confidence in that information.

So what is Beta-sitosterol? Beta-sitosterol has been shown to perform well in the role of breaking down the Lyme toxins. Dr. Klinghardt, at the 2003 Lyme conference, along with other medical doctors reported that it is the best nutrients they had found for helping the body eliminate the specific Lyme toxins. (For those of you familiar with the prescription Cholestyramine®, which has been used as an anti-neurotoxin, beta-sitosterol and chlorella are reported as being as effective without any of the problems common with Cholestyramine®.)

So what is Chlorella? Chlorella was reported at the 2003 Lyme Disease Conference, presented by the Academy of Neural Therapy, as a preeminent anti-toxin for Lyme toxins.
