Place: Queens, NY – moved to Michigan after graduating from University of Hartford, CT, in the late 1900’s.
Background: Manhasset HS band/orchestra/drama; church choir; started playing guitar @ 13 yrs old; performed original music with family trio; majored in classical guitar for a year at Hartt College of Music, CT; no work for classical guitarists – switched to bass – lotsa work.
Groups: NY: Agony & Ecstasy; Aardvark; Sister Fullbosom & the Bonafide Blues Boys; Paul Landerman Orchestra; Lou Allen Orchestra; various union gigs. Michigan: Brian Ashton Trio; Sistah; Whitebird; Aris; various duo/single gigs; Kathy Ford Band.
Touring: New England (Paul Landerman); Midwest/South/Canada (Sistah).
Recording: Columbia Records (NY); Evolution Records (NY); Harvest Productions (MI); LA Productions (MI).
Day Gig: “Retired” non-profit director/employment counselor.
