This site has been used by our students for years with a rate of about 250,000 questions per year (our school is under 2000 students)! We they have changed names and improved the diversity of the product.

Castle Software’s School Island takes on a new look and a new PRODUCT NAME. We’ve been a part of Dr. Lawrence Volk’s teaching experience at John T. Hoggard HS in Wilmington, NC for a very long time. Want to know more?

Only the Product Name will change along with the URL! We will continue to offer a well-researched, extensively tested content review and skill assessment tool in Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts and Foreign Language for elementary, middle and high schools.

If you aren’t familiar with us, let me share our story. Seventeen years ago, a group of educators formed CASTLE Software with the goal of helping students achieve real learning experiences throughout the school year and at the close of the year, to attain higher scores on standardized tests.
