The Airmont branch of the Center is a multi-service clinic for anyone in the community affected by alcohol and/or drug abuse. A detailed description of our services is below. Please contact us for more information, or call to set up an appointment.

|
|
EVALUATION
|
Offered to those seeking help for their alcohol or substance abuse problem, those affected by another person's substance problem, and those who are referred by an agency or court. A treatment recommendation is made at the end of the session. Psychiatric evalustions are available as needed.

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS
|
60 minute one-on-one counseling sessions with a counselor. Services are available in English, Spanish, French or Creole languages.
|
|
GROUP SESSIONS
|
90 minute group facilitated by one or two counselors. Group size 8-12 clients. Offered in English or Spanish. Groups that are currently being offered include a women's group, a men's group, an anger management group and an adult aftercare group.

THE YOUNG ADULT GROUP
|
For clients between 18 and 25 years old. Meets twice a week in the evening. Clients are able to discuss age specific life issues in the context of sobriety and develop a support group with lik-minded peers.

DAY REHABILITATION PROGRAM FOR ADULTS
|
For clients in early recovery. Program runs 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. Each day can include a group session, an educational session, an individual session, and planned group activities. In addition, nutritional counseling, budget planning, anger management, yoga, smoking cessation, HIV/AIDS education and support services are provided each week. Vocational assessment, education and guidance are a component of every client's treatment. Psychiatric services are available onsite as needed.

THE FAMILY & FRIENDS SUPPORT GROUP
|
For family members, significant others or friends of loved ones who are abusing substances. Group meets one night a week. Clients can also be seenfor individual counseling or family sessions if needed.
