Federal Land Inc.: Giving more Filipino families quality choices for a place to call home
|
|
In 1972, amidst the economic and political crisis, one visionary made a bold move into real estate and established Federal Land Inc. (then known as Federal Homes), fulfilling his dream to build communities that would uplift the people’s quality of life.
Federal Land was meant to target the Filipino-Chinese community hankering for modem office and residential projects in Binondo and the rest of downtown Manila.
With land a scarce commodity in the country's oldest central business district, Federal Land focused on erecting high-rise, quality towers that offered modern amenities and design to their place of work and dwelling.
Federal Land banked on the same trust and confidence of customers that propelled Metrobank as the largest financial services in the country.
Its projects are completed on the day of its commitment, and its units are built to better-than-industry-standard specification. This no non-sense approach to real estate has endeared Federal Land not only to the Filipino-Chinese community but also to the growing population of middle to upper-class Filipinos.
Federal Land is one of the biggest mixed-used urban developer in the capital city and nearby urban centers with nearly 30 projects in three decades.
From the Chinese hub of Binondo where they put up Tytana Plaza, Escolta Twin Towers, etc, they have already positioned in Pasay City (with Bayview International Towers), Makati (with Oriental Gardens Makati) and Quezon City (with Valencia Hills).
From the sedate Tytana Plaza in Binondo (it was Manila's tallest and largest building in 1979) to the gleaming GT Tower in Makati (rated as one of the world's most beautiful skyscrapers), Federal Land has made its mark as one of the most reliable and visionary property builders in the country's bustling skyline.
As the progressive developer that it is, Federal Land again expanded its horizons by venturing from vertical to horizontal development and began converting the few sprawling real estate pieces in Metro Manila into master planned communities: the 40-hectare Metropolitan Park across and Bay Garden in scenic Manila Bay, and the 17-hectare Marquinton Residences in the heart of the lush Marikina valley.
Federal Land wanted its projects to be seen not merely as a place for shelter or to park their retirement funds, but primarily as a place where families and individuals actually to live in and call their home because of the wide recreational open spaces, full-sized amenities, and the Blue Wave strip mall, the company's entry into niche retailing, that are basics in modern urban living.
Now after thirty-four years, the company is just as committed to meeting the growing demand for quality, affordable and nurturing environment for modern Filipino families by building yet another roster of uniquely-designed residential high-rises in key locations throughout Metro Manila, Quezon City, Marikina, Paranaque City, among others. Thus, remains true to its promise of providing not only quality-built homes but on-time delivery for all its projects making it one of the country’s most reputable, sought-after urban developer.
