MGBR'S TOP 100 WORKOUTS & SHOWCASE TO BE HELD ON OCTOBER 5, 2008 The Michigan Top 100 Workouts & Showcase is the next big MGBR event in 2008. Division 1, D2, D3, NAIA and junior college coaches will be in attendance to recruit and evaluate potential college prospects. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO MICHIGAN WINS THE 1ST ANNUAL BORDER BATTLE VS OHIO ON JULY 31 The Michigan vs Ohio Border Battle was put on by the Michigan Girls Basketball Report (MGBR). On July 31st top players from Michigan and Ohio went head to head in a competitive showcase format to essentially see who was the #1 state. It came down to the last round of games for Michigan to be crowned the winner (Michigan 13-Wins to Ohio 11-Wins). COLLEGES THAT ATTENDED THE MICHIGAN VS OHIO BORDER BATTLE. The Michigan vs Ohio Border Battle has been tabbed one of the top 2 events this summer by college coaches. The event presented a 2 to 1 player to college coach ratio. Next year the event will be even stronger as some major plans are in the works to make the event even more special for the players and college coaches. GREAT LAKES SUMMER SHOWCASE ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM Competitive travel teams from Michigan, Canada, Ohio and Indiana gathered in late July for the Great Lakes Summer Showcase. MICHIGAN TOP 100 COLLEGE EXPOSURE CAMP Basketball Players from all over the state of Michigan attended the Michigan Top 100 College Exposure Camp. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE ALL-STAR TEAMS AND AWARD WINNERS. TOP 100 MGBR ALL-SHOWCASE TEAM April 20th 2008 at Eastern Michigan University boasted the 1st annual Michigan Top 100 Showcase. The showcase had 240 invitees at the event and it was definitely a packed house at EMU. Following the high school showcase was the Top 25 Junior College Showcase. GREAT LAKES COLLEGE EXPOSURE CLASSIC ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM The 1st annual GLCEC was held at Eastern Michigan University and attracted all levels of college coaches to the venue. Several top players and teams were showcased in the team event.
