News from the Grounds Staff - April 2008
Jason Hamilton has joined Mill Valley Golf Links as our new Grounds Superintendent. Jason comes to Mill Valley from the Kettle Brook Golf Club in Paxton, Massachusetts where he was employed as the Assistant Superintendent since 2005. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in both Management and Plant and Soil Sciences. He joins Bill Sarazin, our Assistant Superintendent, and Bill Malmstedt on our current grounds staff.
News from the Grounds Staff - May 2008
The course is in its finest condition ever. Two of the projects completed in the recent weeks are the aerification of all of the greens, and the clean up of both sides of the 17th fairway. Hole #17 is one of our toughest holes. In the next few weeks, work will be started on beautifying our irrgation pond. When this is completed the pond will look spectacular.
