Where did we come from?

Mulch Wholesalers began in 1995 on a quest to figure out how to turn the wood waste produced by C&K Box Company, Inc from a large expense into a saleable product. Red colored landscape mulch was just beginning to make an impact, and many people thought colored mulch a fad. Wow, were they wrong !!!

Colored mulch changed the way people viewed their landscape. Value oriented customers sought products that were Earth-friendly and looked better longer. Years later, red mulch still has a place in the market but gold, brown and black colored mulches have won over homeowners, businesses, and contractors alike.

We began producing our own double processed hardwood bark in 2005 and it has gained in popularity due to its soil amendment properties and pleasant natural color. The City of Jackson has been a customer for this product right from the start, and it is our pleasure to help make Jackson a more beautiful place.
