Thursday, April 14
Check in: 9 am to 8 pm
6:30 pm - PIZZA for all youth exhibitors and their families by arena
7:00 pm - Youth Practice Classes, Showmanship and Instructions
All youth are asked to attend. Please bring a calf. You will walk through a couple of mock classes, get some showmanship tips, get your calf accustomed to the ring and be better prepared for Friday’s show. Older/experienced youth are welcome to help the younger/beginner youth.

Friday, April 15 - MINNESOTA SHOW

Halter Show I 1pm
Non-Halter Show I 3pm
Steer Show, after Non-Halter Show, about 5 pm - sponsored by Del-Vic, Inc.
The Grand Champion Steer will receive $100! This is in addition to regular payback and pertains only to the Friday Steer Show. The Saturday and Sunday steer shows will not have an added bonus but will have normal payback.

After steer show: LONGHORN TALENT SHOW
Open to all ages: A longhorn(s) must be in the act. Costumes encouraged. Ride or lead the animal, or bring it in loose. $50.00 for 1st Place and Special Awards – sponsored by the Longhorn Network.
Judging based on the animal’s talents. 3 minute time limit. FREE to enter!
Receive 25 Bonus Ranch Points for participating!

Dinner, Tour, and Live Auction at the Great Platte River Road Archway Monument!
The eight story arch spans I-80 and is full of western history. It will open at 7 pm for our private party with a buffet meal and tour of the arch. A cash bar will be available if enough request it on the registration.

Display Table/Booths If you wish to sell merchandise at the show, please donate an item(s) to the silent or live auction. It may be 3 small items, one to each MN, NE and IA or one larger item with proceeds divided.

Include: Name, address, phone, logo, etc.
The Prairie Expo Committee reserves the right to approve content.
If you place an ad in the show program and have your own banner, you may hang your banner in the arena for the three-day show.
You must purchase an ad and/or a banner to hang your banner in the show arena.

VINYL 2’ x 6’ BANNERS
$120.00 per banner Other sizes available.
Purchase Banner by 3/15/2005. Banner will be displayed prominently during the show. You take it home after the show.
Design assistance available. You will be given a proof before printing.

CLASS SPONSOR $100.00: Announcer will read a “commercial” (2 minutes or less) during the class. Typed and double spaced.
You may display your banner in the arena. Your banner may hang through out the weekend.
A 4” x 8” Ad at the top of the classes’ page in the program. You may set up an informational table in the Dueland Pavalion. Content subject to the approval of show committee.
Include with your payment:
o “Commercial” to be read by announcer. It should be typed and double spaced. No longer than 1 minute.
o Information, content, etc. for your 4” x 8” ad.
o Bring your banner to the show.
o You may bring your own table or let us know if we need to provide a table.
