Traditional Bridal Shower Games
M-Word Game The M-Word is “marriage” or any variation of the word “married” and “marry.” Players are given one clothespin or safety pin to wear. As the party progresses, any player who catches another player saying the M-Word gets to take that player’s pin. The player who has the most pins is the winner.
Handbag Hunt Game Have each player place her handbag on her lap. Then, one by one, call out items typically found in a handbag - lipstick, mirror, gum, comb, pictures, tissues, etc. The player who has the most items wins.
Bride Is Wearing Game Discretely ask the Bride to leave the room. Then give each player a piece of paper and pen to write down everything they can remember about what the Bride is wearing. The player with the most correct answers wins.
From A to Z Players try to list something wedding related for every letter of the alphabet. The Bride’s list will be used as the answer key. The player with the most answers matching the Bride wins.
Gift Guess Game Before the gifts are opened have each player write down 25 different items they think the Bride will receive. When she opens a gift, players check the item off their list. The player with the most correct guesses wins.
Word Magic Game Players are given 3 minutes to write down words created from the Bride’s full name. For fun variations, make your own rules like the words must be wedding, home, or couple related, etc. The player with the most “real” words wins.
