EZ-Directory is one of the most powerful Hostware® solutions available throughout the entire EZ-NetTools® suite. This program is like an online telephone directory that organizes large lists of names alphabetically. EZ-Directory can be used to list contact information for people, businesses, clubs, schools, and more. You can define the list in the way you want it in the directory configuration.

When the configuration is set, you choose the categories and subcategories that best describe the data you want to display online. Then you enter the data within the respective categories.

To save time, you can import the data in a standard .csv file format. Most spreadsheets and databases export data in this common data transfer format. Once the information has been imported, you can maintain the information online very easily. After a period of time you may want to export the information for further use in a spreadsheet or database.

To edit the directory listing, simply select the listing and fill out the simple form.

The basic information displayed includes a name, address, and phone number. In some situations there may be listings that will need to be highlighted. The Premier Listing option highlights the respective listings.

Premier listings include all of the basic display information but may also include a graphic (logo), text description of the listing, e-mail address, link to a website, link to an audio clip, map, and even GPS coordinates!
