On behalf of the NOVA Foundation Board of Directors, we are excited to host the 2nd Annual Charity
Event on September 19th that will benefit the Nurses Organization for Veteran Affairs (NOVA)
Foundation.
VA Nurses care for over 5,000,000 American Veterans. They're on the front lines 24 hours a day,
every day. They tend the wounds received defending our freedom. They administer the care and
medications. They help our brave warriors heal their broken bodies and spirits. They bring comfort,
compassion, and hope. America's VA Nurses are the healthcare professionals caring for our wounded
and disabled veterans. Often, they are the primary ambassadors of the gratitude of our nation.
The NOVA Foundation helps make sure it's the best care possible. The NOVA Foundation is dedicated to
the advancement of VA Nursing. Through our scholarships, research grants, and educational programs,
we help VA Nurses deliver outstanding care to America's heroes.
The year's event promises to be better than ever. It will be held at one of the best catered-event
facilities in Maryland - Martin's Camelot in Upper Marlboro. There is exciting entertainment
featuring Johnny Seaton, a famous Elvis impersonator. The menu and beverages will be delightful,
along with the silent auction, and other activities throughout the evening.
This is a fun way to support our troops and the nurses who care for them. Join us on September
19th from 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm. For more information, go to www.vanurse.org/bullroast.html. We hope to see you
there!
