William S. Bergman, who died on June 15, 2006 from complications of an infection, was an active supporter of VA nurses, their education, and nursing research in the service of caring for veterans. His company, William S. Bergman Associates (WSBA), serves as the management company for NOVA and the NOVA Foundation.
In his honor and in celebration of his life, the William S. Bergman Memorial Research Fund has been established to support a VA nurse researcher whose study is in the area of infectious disease. Your generous contribution will support research aimed at developing better ways to diagnose, treat, and prevent immunologic disease in veterans.
