Osprey-50
End of Life
ViewCast has placed the Osprey-50 on End of
Life status. Product will ship until stock is depleted.
There is no recommended or planned replacement. We strongly
suggest you do a last time buy immediately as stock is expected to run

Osprey-210
CLASSIC End of Life
ViewCast has placed the Osprey-210
CLASSIC on End of Life status. Product will ship until stock
is depleted. The recommended replacement is the standard Osprey-210.
There are no functional differences between the EOL O-210 Classic and
the still available standard O-210. The only difference is
related to input connections. The Osprey-210 Classic has all
connections on the bracket whereas the standard O-210 has all
connections through a dongle. We strongly suggest you do a last
time buy immediately as stock is expected to run out quickly. See

Add
Balanced XLR Audio
to
the Osprey-440!
OSPREY-440: Did you know you can feed
XLR balanced audio to the Osprey-440?
All you need is a special cable assembly distributed ONLY by Paradise. In addition to providing XLR
balanced audio to the O-440, this expansion cable kit expands
your total video input possibilities, too. This
assembly gives you a total of 16 composite video inputs (4 on each
channel) and 8 audio inputs (2 on each channel) through 16 BNC video
connections, 4 RCA pair audio connections and 4 XLR pair
balanced audio connections. Note that only one video source
and one audio source can be captured on each of the 4 channels at any
given time. See photo of cable assembly below. MSRP $99.

PCI,
PCI-X, PCI-Express
Make
sure you get a capture card that matches your computer's
architecture. PCI cards are 5.0volt, 32-bit cards and include the
Osprey-100 and Osprey-210. PCI-X cards are 3.3volt, 64-bit cards
and include the O-230, O-300 EASE bundle, O-440 and O-530. All
Osprey PCI-X cards are backwards compatible and will fit in standard
PCI slots. When installing an Osprey PCI-X universal card in
a standard PCI slot, the PCI-X card will seem too long. Some of
the pins on the PCI-X card will hang over and extend beyond the PCI
slot. That's ok. The PCI-X Osprey card will work fine
in your PCI slot so go ahead and install it.
Note
that PCI-X and PCI-Express are NOT the same
thing. Currently, there are no Osprey PCI-Express cards.
