SimulStream is a software
upgrade that extends the capabilities of Osprey capture
cards. With this software, a single Osprey card can
output multiple streams from a single input source. For
example, you can have multiple instances of Windows Media and Real
Producer simultaneously encoding dial-up and broadband
profiles via one Osprey card. You could even be creating an
AVI file of your content for later editing while other applications are
creating streams.

- Be sure you
have the latest Osprey driver. If needed, download the most
current version of the Osprey AVStream
driver here.
- Go to the
“filters” tab in the SwiftCap
application to enable SimulStream.
A link to this application should be on your desktop.
- Now start
testing SimulStream! A watermark
will appear on your video during your trial.
Once you've
seen the value of SimulStream, contact

SimulStream is licensed and keycoded to a specific Osprey card serial
number. It is available factory enabled or as a field upgrade.
There are no Osprey-imposed limitations to the number of applications
that can run simultaneously with SimulStream,
however, enough system power will be required for each instance of

the AVStream User Guide.

Osprey-560
End of Life
Effective October 12, 2006,
ViewCast put the Osprey-560 on end of life status. This
announcement affects the Osprey-560 (P/N 95-00434), Osprey-560 Rack
Panel Bundle (P/N 95-00436) and Osprey-560 w/ SimulStream
(P/N 95-00435).
The new Osprey-530,
Osprey-530 Rack Panel Bundle and Osprey-530 w/ SimulStream
are recommended replacements.
The Osprey-530 is identical
to the Osprey-560, but does NOT support DV/firewire
input. Please contact us

Niagara GoStream
SP1 Available

Service Pack 1 (SP1) for the portable Niagara
GoStream system. This is a field
update for the GoStream software image that is
