Osprey SimulStream is the first premium software upgrade available extending the capabilities of Osprey Video capture cards. SimulStream enables a single Osprey Video card to output multiple instances of audio and video data from a single input source to multiple applications.

Option 1:

Typical encodes like Figure 1 represent 2-3 content types: Real, Windows Media and QuickTime. This is done while also recognizing the diversity in connectivity speeds by delivering multiple data rates, generally 2-5.

The streaming server then maintains which included bitrate stream is most appropriate for a given view based on connectivity speeds.

- Osprey driver 2.XX or higher
- Run GetSimulStream enabling application (automatic download when you purchase Osprey SimulStream)
- Windows NT, 2000 or XP
- *SimulStream for the Osprey-2000 does not apply to MPEG encoding.
