PLEASANT VIEW CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
PLEASANT VIEW, UTAH
March 11, 2008
The public meeting was held in the city office at 520 West Elberta Dr. in Pleasant View, Utah, commencing at 9:20 P.M.

BUSINESS:
1. Discussion and/or action on a resolution of the Pleasant View City Redevelopment Agency designating the gateway community development project areas, authorizing the preparation of a draft project area plan and draft project area budget, and authorizing and directing all necessary action by the agency, staff, and counsel. (Presenter: Bruce Talbot)
Bruce Talbot showed the agency the proposed CDA (commercial development area) area. The agency discussed the boundaries of the area. Bruce Talbot: you can’t add to a CDA area, but it could be shrunk or create another CDA. I recommend a limited area because you need to create a plan and analysis for the area and the larger the area the more difficult it gets. Bruce Talbot explained the difference between RDA’s, EDA’s, and CDA’s.
Motion was made by BM Hjorten to adopt a resolution of the Pleasant View City Redevelopment Agency designating the gateway community development project areas, authorizing the preparation of a draft project area plan and draft project area budget, and authorizing and directing all necessary action by the agency, staff, and counsel (Resolution 2008-A (RDA)). 2nd by BM Ferguson. Voting aye: BM Ferguson, BM Boehme, BM Hjorten, BM Walker, and BM Humphreys. Motion passed.
