Sewer Connection Fee (non-residential):

 

The sewer connection shall be determined by either a 240 GPM of sewer discharge, or a value of 20 fixture units from Table 4-1, Chapter 4 of the Uniform Plumbing code, Adopted 1991.

 

Example:  If a commercial/industrial connection had 43 fixture units from Table 4-1, the RE value would be 43/20 = 2.15. The City would charge $550.00 (impact fee) X 2.15 as the total sewer impact fee for the fixture unit value was 43, the total sewer impact fee would be $1,182.50.

Drainage piping serving batteries of appliances capable of producing continuous flow shall be adequately sized to provide for peak loads.  clotheswashers in groups of three (3) or more shall be rated at six (6) units each for the purpose of common horizontal and vertical waste pipe sizing.

Water closets shall be computed as six (6) fixture units when determining septic tank size based on Appendix 1 of this Code.

Trap sizes shall not be increased to a point where the fixture discharge may be inadequate to maintain their self-scouring properties.

Building Valuation Data

For purposes of establishing the Permit Fee Multiplier, the estimated total annual construction value for a given time period (1 year) is the sum of each building's value (Gross Area x Square Foot Construction Cost) for that time period (e.g., 1 year).                                                                                                                                                                         • The Square Foot Construction Cost does not include the price of the land on which the building is built. The Square Foot Con­struction Cost takes into account everything from site and foun­dation work to the roof structure and coverings but does not include the price of the land. The cost of the land does not affect the cost of related code enforcement activities and is not included in the Square Foot Construction Cost.
