Welcome to the PVPD website!
The Pleasant View Police Department serves the residents, visitors, and businesses of Pleasant View City. Pleasant View was incorporated in 1851, and has approximately 6,500 residents. The City sits at the base of Mount Ben Lomond in the mountains of northern Weber County, and is located approximately 45 miles north of Salt Lake City on Interstate 15.
The Department is staffed with seven full-time officers, supported by a part-time police officer unit, an animal control officer, police secretary, and school crossing guards. Along with providing general patrol and investigative duties, the department provides a number of other services to the community, such as its School Resource Officer (SRO) program at Weber High, the Drug Resistance Abuse Education (D.A.R.E.) program at Lomond View Elementary, and the PVPD Traffic School and Youth Court Programs.
Please browse the site, which is still under construction, and offer your input and suggestions. Visit the Staff page to see the people who dedicate themselves to keeping Pleasant View a safe and wonderful place to raise your family, and take advantage of the information and tools available to you.
Thanks for stopping in!
