George Hunt House
George Hunt House
Hunts Meadow Farm was built circa 1773 by patriot Edward Hunt, who during the Revolutionary War stabled horses for Washington's Continental Army. The log house at the back, with the beehive oven and walk-in fireplace, originally belonged to Edward. The restored stone portion of this house, built circa 1825 by George Hunt, is a classic example of local country Georgian architecture.
