This house stands above the Pohatcong Creek and consists of 2 distinctly different building styles, constructed approximately 90 years apart. Henry R. Kennedy, a prominent lawyer and state Legislator, owned the farm from 1866 to 1886. The wood frame section is said to be the original and one of the oldest houses in Pohatcong Township. The original First Presbyterian Church of Greenwich, built of logs, is said to have been on this farmstead.
