 As with anything that requires skill, becoming a successful Internet Consultant takes training and practice. For the May Hands-On Training, the first Hands-On Training session since the recently revised training plan was announced, practical application was the word of the day.
From the very beginning of training, emphasis is placed on applying the skills learned at training in the real world. At the beginning of the session, Bonnie of Bonnie's Boutique, a fictitious company invented for use as an example, is introduced as a potential client and proceeds to tell the Internet Consultants in training what she is looking for in a site. Within the first hour or so of training, trainees create a sample site for Bonnie with hopes of winning her business.
 Todd, who had attended Hands-On Training one year earlier, applauded the changes. "I liked the practical application. It made a big difference. The more I saw how everything fit together, the more confident I felt that I could go out and do the same thing. After this training, I have an even better idea of what I can do to sell web sites."

Todd was glad that he attended hands-on training because of the impact it will have on his business. All of the other participants expressed similar feelings. They decided to attend because they realized that they had a choice to make. In fact, it is the same choice that all resellers have to make.
