Dance and Music Festival Adult Workshops are held at various times throughout the week of the Idaho International Dance and Music Festival. This is done to serve the needs of the tour groups and the Elder hostel class. Over 30 sections of dances are scheduled around the campus of BYU-Idaho so that the visitors can get to every team being represented at the Festival.

The individual dancers teach the American adults about their country, their costumes, and involve the patrons in actually learning dance steps. The success of these workshops is indicated by the growing number of classes offered. It first began with only 3 dance classes and presently is over 30.
