What You Need to Know BEFORE
You Get Inked...
|

- You must be 18 years of age with valid government issued photo identification.
- Valid ID includes a Drivers License, Non Driver ID, Military ID or passport.
- Appointments are recommended, however, walk-ins are welcome!
- Do not drink alcoholic beverages the night before, or prior to your tattoo appointment!

What You Need to Know AFTER
You Get Inked...
|
|
- Wash your hands thoroughly prior to cleaning or touching on or near your tattoo.
- Remove the sterile bandage within one to two hours after you leave the studio.
- It is not necessary to apply another bandage.
- Wash the tattoo briefly using warm water and a mild soap with just your hand; never use a wash cloth.
- Ice the new tattoo for ten minutes and blot dry. You should not need to ice it again.
- Apply A & D Ointment sparingly until healed (usually around seven to ten days).
- Approximately two days after you receive your tattoo, a protective scab will form. This will fall off on its own in about a week.
- Take care of your new tattoo! You will have it forever!

What to AVOID After You Get Inked...
|
|
- Avoid friction from clothing, excessive motion of the area, and vigorous cleaning.
- Do not scratch, pick or tamper with the scab.
- Do not soak in a hot tub or bath tub, brief showers are recommended until healed.
- Keep out of the sun and tanning beds until healed.
- Do not allow your healing tattoo be exposed to dirt, grease, sand, oil or any unclean condition.
- Do not wear nylons or pantyhose over a healing tattoo.
