I began my life as an artist with crayon drawings at the age of five, blessed with artistic talent. I kept painting all my life. In painting, I could be anywhere in my thoughts and create what I wanted, for art is my true passion.
My education includes an Associates degree from Jackson Community College and a BA from Michigan State University, with continuing classes at Ella Sharp Museum.
After spending 10 years raising my children, I joined the Jackson Civic Art Association. I began painting and attending many workshops.

After a workshop in July 2005, I discovered plein air painting (a term used by the impressionists to describe painting outdoors). With my pastels, I created many landscapes. My favorite subject it reflections in the water. During the summer of 2006, I joined a plein air group in which many of the pastels were painted.
When I'm not working in my studio, I am busy operating my own business called "Creative Endeavours". I paint large murals for homes and commercial businesses.
