TRANSITION RESOURCE NETWORK GOALS
Develop work-based and project-based learning experiences that support youth development and build youth leadership skills.
Offer technical assistance and training to schools, organizations, youth, families and employers in evidence-based practice transition planning and implementation
Facilitate and promote collaboration and cooperation among all stakeholders
We provide skill-building and leadership trainings to high school students to help them acquire work-readiness skills.
We enjoy a solid relationship with the business community and can help connect students to real world employment experiences, such as job shadows and internships.
Our links to post secondary organizations allows us to assist high schools to develop common practices and procedures that support the transition from high school to higher education and employment.
