Streamline Corporation was formed by Lee Donaldson to provide manufacturing materials procurement process and product solutions to manufacturing companies. We specialize in project assignments that target specific materials issues such as, supplier performance evaluation, purchasing systems, inventory control and supplier negotiations.

Most of my career has been built upon a solid foundation of manufacturing experience in multiple industries, mostly related to the materials management segment, with a strong emphasis in management and business ownership.

About Lee

It is this base of my first hand experience in the commercial and office furniture manufacturing industry that guides Streamline to help develop solutions to problems that are product suitability, quality, price and procurement based.

My manufacturing career has covered many areas of responsibility, from machine operator, quality control technician, buyer, production scheduler, inventory control/planner, customer service manager, shipping and receiving manager, materials manager, director of purchasing, general manager, vice president, a sales company President and CEO and I have operated as an entrepreneur.

I have been involved in the steel roll forming business, providing products to the automotive and office furniture industry. My experience includes the oil and gas industry where I worked with ball valve and gate valve applications and procurement. I have worked in the design architectural business, providing total turn-key programs to large accounts such as General Motors Pro Shops, Kodak store in a store, and Nissan Infinity showrooms. My background includes hands on store fixture work providing store interior components/fixtures for clients such as Citi-Bank, Target, Wal-Mart, Bell-Atlantic. My direct involvement with the office furniture industry includes providing products and turnkey programs for Steelcase, Herman Miller, Trendway and Haworth.

Prior to launching my career in the furniture manufacturing business I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Operations and Materials Management from Michigan State University. Since graduation, I have continued my formal education through associations such as NAPM (ISM), Dale Carnegie training, Grand Rapids Right Place Program in Purchasing User group, ISO training, industry seminars such as Grand Rapids Employers Association training in Microsoft computer programs including MS Office and Excel.
