To backup your files
:
You need to go to the administrative tools and notice that the 'View Web Page' option is in the white field. Click on that white field and it will drop down a box. Scroll down the list until you find the 'Backup Files' option and click once on it. Now click the 'Go' button. This will bring up a download window and ask to download a file to your computer. Choose the radio button next to 'Save this file to disk' and click on the 'OK' button. This will then give you a 'Save As' window and ask where you want to save it. Choose a place that is easy to find on your computer and click the 'Save' button.
DO NOT change the file name!
This will then save the file to your computer. Do not mess with this file, do not try and open this file, and do not try to unzip this file. The file is saved in a tar format which we will use to re-instate your pages onto your site.
If the file is messed with, we may not be able to re-instate your site!

Why should I use this option?
The 'Backup Files' option is a very simple way to be sure that you not lose any information. There are a number of ways that your site may become lost. There could be bookwork errors, computers may crash, or you may make changes that you decide you don't like. This is especially handy when you are managing a large catalog. All of the information will be saved in this file (except for the graphics themselves), and you can have it placed back on your site in case of any errors.

To replace your site:
You can have your site replaced by emailing us the file that you had saved on your computer upon backing up your files. If you send us the file, and it has not been messed with at all, we will be able to replace your entire site. (Except for the graphics themselves. The links to the graphics will be there, but the actual graphics do not get saved.)
