Button Builder vs. Button Bar

Is there a difference between the button builder and the button bar? There is a big difference between the two. Button builder will create buttons for you with whatever text (relatively speaking) you want on them. The button bar, however, does not create buttons, but rather places a number of graphics in a row across, or down the side, of a page.

Instructions for the Button Builder

These are the instructions on how to add a button builder to the page builder. When in pagebuilder and working on any page, add a block. When given choices, scroll down until you find the Button Builder option. Choose this, and click on 'Next step.' You will see this screen:

Button Bar

1. When you add a button bar it first gives you an option to have the bar centered, which is straight accross the page, or if you want it as a sidebar which is to the side of the page up and down.

2. On the left side there are 10 spaces for you to put graphics in. The browse button on the right gives you the option to choose graphics from the files on the server, or from your own computer.
Once you highlight the graphic you choose, click on open and the file name will be set in the space provided.

3. Each graphic also has a link which you enter on the left side. There is also a browse button to the right that which gives you the option to choose the page you want the graphic button to link to. Click on open for what ever page you choose and the file name will be inserted.

4. Once you have inserted however many buttons, you can then choose if you want to insert the blank line or not, which is a space beneath the block you created.

5. Once you are through click on submit and the block will appear on the page.

6. To edit that block: At the top middle of the page, to the left of the "add before" button there is a list of all the blocks you have created, 1,2,3,4..... Highlight the correct one and then click on edit which is to the far right, make your changes and submit.
