Edit Global Information

These are the instructions for use of the global information. It is smart to go to set up the global information before you start building your website. This is because you will want to set your background, and colors before building any pages. This is the settings that will be the same on ALL of your pages. Go to the global information by going to the Construction Tools in your Main Menu and clicking on Edit Global Information. Then click 'Go.' This will give you the following:

-Background-
Bg Color: If you want your entire website to have a color for the background, you will need to click the radio button next to 'Bg Color:', and then use the drop down box to choose the color that you want your background on your web site to be. If we do not offer the color that you are looking for, you can put that color in the 'Other Color:' option. However, because not all colors show on all computers, the colors that you can see may not be seen by other computers. This can result in a different background color that may not look good.
Stock Image: If you want all of your web site pages to have a background image, then click the radio button for 'Stock Image:' Use the drop down box here to choose the background image in your list of files. This will set all of your pages with the image you select.
Other Image: If you have a different background that you would like, you can click the radio button next to 'Other Image:' and type the image address into the space provided.

You will now see a 'View Color Table' and 'View Backgrounds' buttons. You can click on either of these to view your options. Use your browser's 'Back' button to return to the global information. You will then see the following:

-Header-
Header Graphic: If you want to have a header on all of your pages, then you can click on the radio button for 'Header Graphic:'. Use the drop down box to choose the graphic you want to use as your header.
Alt Text:For the browser's that do not support graphics, you can type here what you want displayed so that those with text only browsers will be able to see something. This text will also show up when the mouse is placed over the graphic area.
Header Text:If you do not yet have a header, or if you would prefer text to be shown as your header instead of a graphic, you can click the radio button next to 'Header Text' and type in the text you want to use as your header. You can also use HTML to edit this text.
Font Color:Use this drop down box to choose the color that you want your header text to be. This will be the same on every page. If we do not offer the color you are looking for, you can place your own color in the 'Other Color:' option.
Size:Choose the size of your header text. 1 is very small and 7 is very large.
Bold   On Off:If you want your header text to be bold, then select the 'On' radio button. Otherwise, choose the 'Off' radio button.

Again, you will see the button to view the colors. You can use this button to see all of the color options that we offer. You will need to use your browser's 'Back' button to return to the global information.

-Other-
Copyright Owner:If you would like your site copyrighted. You can type in the 'Copyright Owner' area your name, company, or whatever you would like. This information will be shown at the very bottom of every page.
Link Color:The color of all links that have not been visited. (default blue)
Visited Link Color:The color the link will be after it has been visited.
Active Link Color:When you are using a link.
Text Color:This will be the color of ALL of your text on your site unless you use HTML to edit the font size, color, or size from within pagebuilder.

You can use the ‘Other Color' of any of the options to type in a color you would like.

Next we see the information that can be displayed at the bottom of the page in the 'For More Information' area:

For all of these options, you can choose ‘On' if you want that piece of information to be displayed at the bottom of your page. If you do not want it shown, choose ‘Off.' This information will be pulled from your member profile.
The table width is set at 600 for default. This is the width, in pixels, of your page. If you would like your page to be wider or thinner, you can make the adjustments here. If you would like to offset your page to the right, you can put in the number of pixels that you want to move your page to the right in the 'Table Offset.'

Again, see the 'View Color Table' button, and use it if you would like.

When you have all of this information in, click the 'Submit' button. This will regenerate all of your page builder pages. It will make all of the adjustments. If you, after submitting this page, still see a page with the old information, refresh your browser and clear your cache.
