EZNetTools EZ-Counters

The EZ-Counters are a very simple thing to understand. You get to them by going to the Construction Tools/EZ-Counters and clicking the 'Go' button. This brings you to a page that has an 'Edit Counters' button and a 'Return to Main Menu' button. Click on the 'Edit Counters' button. This gives you a page that gives you a list of all of your hit counter names, their descriptions, the URL to the page and an Edit and Delete button.

The 'Description' is for you to see only, and describes what the page is.
The 'URL' gives you a link to the page so that you can see what exactly is on the page.
The Edit option brings you do a page that gives three text fields. You are asked for the following:
- Hit Counter - This is the name of the counter for this page.
- Description - This is usually the page name.
- Page URL - The URL to this page.
The Delete option will delete the counter for you. Be careful as they will be deleted without confirmation.

Every page built in page builder will automatically have a counter created for it. However, if you have a page that you have built in Html that you want to use on this system, you can add a counter to it by clicking on the 'Add A Counter' button. You type in the name of the hit counter, (generally the page name), the description, (also generally the page name), and the URL to the page. When you are done entering information, click on the 'Submit' button. This takes you to a page that gives the following:

This also gives you a few lines of Html code. Place this code into the Html page you have created. Then upload the page. That page will then have a counter on it and you can track the number of hits on it per day.

Click on the 'Return to Counters' button. You will see that that hit counter has been added to your list. When you are done working with your counters, click on the 'Return to Main Menu' button.
